The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT), a division of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in Vietnam, has declared that the industry is actively advancing digital transformation by creating a smart tourism ecosystem. This is a calculated step meant to enhance both state administration and the general traveler experience.
The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reports that platforms including the Vietnam Travel app, the Vietnam Travel management and business system, smart tourism cards, and most significantly, an electronic ticketing system, are important elements of this ecosystem.
The Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts and the VNAT’s Tourism Information Technology Center most recently launched an electronic ticketing system together. By providing a variety of convenient self-check-in choices, it offers a simplified experience by doing away with the need for guests to wait in line at counters to purchase tickets.
Previously, this system was deployed at the Temple of Literature, the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace relic site and Quan Thanh Temple.
