Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta inaugurated the newly constructed community center in Manakya village, costing around Rs 1 crore, addressing the social needs of the residents.

During the event, Gupta announced the upcoming opening of a sewing center within the community center, offering training in sewing and embroidery for local women.
He emphasized that the facility would benefit people from all walks of life in Manakya and nearby villages. Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan and Municipal Corporation Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal attended the inauguration. Gupta assured the villagers that, based on their demands, both roads and unpaved paths would soon be concretized.

He highlighted the government’s commitment to developing villages on par with cities in Panchkula district, citing significant development works and improvements in infrastructure. Gupta acknowledged the positive impact of the state government, led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal, ensuring 24-hour electricity supply, healthcare upgrades at Civil Hospital Sector 6 Panchkula, and the transformation of 105 primary schools into English medium primary model culture schools.

Encouraging public participation, Gupta urged people to benefit from the government schemes for the welfare of the poor. During the event, he distributed certificates to beneficiaries of various schemes. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sachin Gupta, Deputy Commissioner Apoorva Chaudhary, and other dignitaries were present.
