A suicide bomber targeted a bank in northern Afghanistan on Tuesday, killing five people, including Taliban security personnel, according to police.
“A suicide bomber, who had improvised explosive devices, detonated himself near the Bank of Kabul,” said Jumadin Khaksar, police spokesman for Kunduz province. He confirmed that the explosion claimed the lives of both civilians and Taliban security forces.
