Arunachal Pradesh Police celebrated its Raising Day on 8 November at PTC Banderdewa. Chief Minister Pema Khandu graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Senior officers from the civil administration and police graced the occasion with their presence.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, CM Khandu appreciated the role of police and said that peace is very essential for development in any state. He called upon the state police to be professional and deal with criminals or any elements attempting to disrupt the peace with an iron hand as per law. He also assured the government’s support to strengthen the police department besides keeping in mind the welfare of its personnel.

DGP R.P. Upadhyay mentioned the various measures taken for the welfare of the police force by the government.
