With the objective to support emerging artists between the ages of 20 and 35, Vijay Ram Foundation organized an art exhibition “A Stitch in Time” till 14 August 2023 at Chestnut Hues Art Studio Gurgaon.
This curated group show invited viewers to contemplate the intricate relationship between time, action, and consequence, emphasizing the potential for small gestures or efforts to have a significant and lasting impact over time.
Over 150 artists participated in the foundation contest showcasing their exceptional artworks.
The preview of the exhibition was held on 29 July and on the same day the winners of the art show were felicitated with the 1st Vijay Ram Ratna Award.
After careful deliberation, a distinguished jury selected ten outstanding works for exhibition at the Chestnut Hues Art Studio in Gurgaon. The first three artists were awarded cash prizes.
The Vijay Ram Foundation, founded by Sangeeta Singh, a visual artist in honor of her late parents, is dedicated to fostering warmth and encouragement within the art community and supporting emerging artists.
Sushma K Bahl, an esteemed Arts adviser, writer and curator, and Nidhi Jain, the Director of Gallery Ragini, were invited as the chief guests for this event.
