A murder case has now been registered for the mysterious death of Mansukh Hiren, whose SUV was found abandoned near the house of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, laden with gelatin sticks.

As per the order of the Home Ministry Dept, Government of Maharashtra, Mansukh Hiren’s alleged suicide case was handed over to the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). The Mumbai ATS Kalachowki unit registered the murder case.

The case was being probed as an accidental death but has now been converted to one of murder, following a complaint by the deceased›s wife, Vimla Hiren. A complaint for alleged criminal conspiracy, murder, and attempts to destroy evidence has been lodged against “unidentified persons”.

Hiren, the ‘owner’ of the explosive-laden SUV which had been found barely 600m away from the posh residence of the Ambanis, had also written a letter to the Mumbai and Thane police commissioner about alleged harassment at the hands of policemen and news reporters.
