A shocking case of animal cruelty has come to light in Noida, revealing the inhumane way that its cow was treated. It had suffered a lot, with a wooden stick barely 2.5 feet long inserted into the rectum. That set off a quest to know how a human being could stoop so low in hurting a defenseless animal.

Rescue after a Distress Call

The whole incident came to light after Nandi Seva Trust got information about a sick cow on the banks of Ali Vardipur village, Haldwani. The trust promptly sent an ambulance and took the sick cow to the veterinary hospital in Sector 3, Patwari. A thorough medical examination was conducted and an awful reason for the suffering cow was mentioned-a large wooden stick was found inserted into its rectum.

Emergency Medical Intervention

The doctors removed the stick as soon as they could and relieved the cow of unbearable pain. Nonetheless, the condition of the animal continues to be serious. The rescue was filmed and has gone viral, attracting outrage and calls for justice.

Police Register Case Against Perpetrator

The Nandi Seva Trust lodged an FIR against unknown persons at the Ecotech 3 Police Station. The police have confirmed that a case is registered, and the inquiry is underway; however, at present, no one has been arrested. The authorities stated: “we are proceeding with the legally required procedures for catching the perpetrator of this barbaric act.”

Public Outrage and Call for Justice

Footage of the rescue sparked outrage on social media, with many decrying the act and demanding rigorous punishment for the perpetrator. This shocking incident has ignited calls for stricter laws and their enforcement for the animals in light of such horrendous acts of cruelty.

While the cow is still under medical care, animal welfare organizations continue to monitor the case, appealing for prompt punishment for this sickening crime.
