A frustrated Ola Electric customer reportedly set fire to a showroom in Kalaburagi, North Karnataka, after his scooter was not repaired, according to a police investigation.

Mohammad Nadeem, 26, bought an Ola electric scooter in August but faced repeated issues. Despite numerous visits to the showroom, the problems remained unresolved. On Tuesday, Nadeem purchased petrol, poured it on the showroom, and ignited it in frustration.

A police officer told Moneycontrol, “He bought an Ola scooter from the showroom 20 days ago, but it had frequent issues. The showroom staff did not address the problems despite his repeated visits. Frustrated with the issues and the staff’s negligence, he poured petrol on the showroom and set it on fire.”
