The Ambani wedding has showcased Indian artisanry and craftsmanship to fashion enthusiasts around the globe. From Bandhani to Kasheeda, Pichwai to Zardosi, the women of the Ambani family have highlighted the intricate embroidery techniques and the rich heritage of Indian weavers.

The men of the Ambani family also made a significant impact with their attire. For his wedding, Anant Ambani wore a striking red Bundi jacket, custom-designed by Manish Malhotra. The jacket, adorned with gold vark and inspired by traditional pichwai paintings from Rajasthan’s Nathdwara temple, featured motifs such as lotuses, trees, cows, and peacocks.

Manish Malhotra shared on Instagram, “Created by Bhilwara artisans over 600 hours and painted by three expert pichwai artists in 110 hours using 100 gold leaves, our exquisite sartorial ensemble serves as a profound testament to the skill and dedication inherent in traditional artistry.”

The groom’s mother, Nita Ambani, chose a stunning pink charbagh sari, embellished with detailed meena work and rangkaat techniques. What particularly caught attention was her purple blouse, which featured real gold varak work crafted by Pichwai artist Shehzad Ali from Kishangarh, Rajasthan.
