As Indians, including Bollywood celebrities, extended their congratulations to Anasuya Sengupta for her historic win at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival, Amul also joined the celebration.

Sengupta made history by becoming the first Indian to win the Best Actress award at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. She clinched the award in the Un Certain Regard section for her exceptional performance in “The Shameless,” directed by Bulgarian filmmaker Constantin Bojanov.

Amul, renowned for its creative advertising, released a topical featuring the iconic Amul girl holding a buttered bread slice next to Sengupta, proudly displaying her Cannes award. The topical’s wordplay cleverly read “Cannesuya Sengupta,” accompanied by the tagline, “Amul. Indulge Shamelessly.”
