Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Ahmedabad in Gujarat for the e-inauguration of 30 smart schools developed by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in Naranpura. He mentioned that the conversion of all schools into smart schools is almost finished, with the remaining 10 schools also set to become smart schools soon.

Addressing the public, Shah stated, “The work of converting all the schools into smart schools is now almost complete. For the 10 schools that are remaining, I assure you that they will also become smart schools…”

Regarding the education of students in municipal schools, he added, “449 municipal schools and 1,70,000 students are getting primary education in Gujarati, Hindi, English and Urdu mediums…”

The inauguration event also included Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, who mentioned the development on his official platform, saying, “Today was a day of education revolution for the children of many poor and middle-class families of Gandhinagar Lok Sabha Constituency.”

Patel further highlighted the facilities in the smart schools, including future classrooms with laptops, modern science-maths labs, 3D wallpapers, and paintings, aimed at providing high-quality education and skill development through modern technology.

He also mentioned that out of the 69 government schools in the Gandhinagar constituency, 59 have been transformed into smart schools, with plans to upgrade the remaining ones. Patel praised the development in the area during Shah’s tenure and expressed gratitude for the support of the citizens.
