After Chaudhary Birendra Singh, his son MP Brijendra Singh also targeted the alliance in Haryana state. Brijendra has said that the government that was supposed to be run with the alliance has ended, now it is the right time to leave this alliance. The sooner one leave the better it will be.
This is not the first time that Chaudhary Birender Singh or his son BJP MP Brijendra have taken a dig at the alliance. Even before this, both of them have given advice to their party regarding the alliance. Also, Chaudhary Birender Singh gave statements about breaking the alliance. After which the political temperature in the state was heated, and they also raised direct questions on the leadership of the ally JJP.
Actually, Chaudhary Birendra Singh and Chautala family have been facing each other for many years for Uchana Kalan assembly seat, both the families have been contesting elections on this assembly seat. Hence, both the families have been targeting each other many times regarding this seat. In 2014, Chaudhary Birendra Singh’s wife Prem Lata defeated Dushyant Chautala in the assembly elections, and in 2019, Dushyant Chautala reached the assembly by winning this seat.
This assembly constituency is a fight for supremacy for both the families, hence both the families present their claim on it, but after going into alliance, the battle for claim on this seat has become more exciting, if the alliance continues then JJP will win from the quota. Dushyant Chautala will definitely be seen staking his claim to contest elections on this seat, which is displeasing to Chaudhary Birendra Singh. This is why Chaudhary Birendra Singh is suddenly targeting JJP and advising BJP to take a different path, while recently BJP in-charge had clearly said for Uchana Kalan seat that our sister Prem Lata will contest from here, after which the alliance will be finalized. Questions were raised in the state, after which CM Manohar Lal and the party leaders themselves had to come and clarify that the alliance will continue, so only time will tell what will be the impact of the father-son rebellion in the future.
