New Delhi: India added 26,624 coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking its tally to 1,00,31,223. The number of fresh infections is 5.8% higher than Saturday when the country registered 25,152 cases making the total infections reach over one crore mark.

India reported 341 deaths on Sunday due to Covid-19, taking the total number of fatalities to 1,45,447. Active cases stand at over 305,344. While 9,580,402 lakh people have recovered from the disease. National Capital Delhi reported 1,139 new Covid-19 cases, including 2,168 recoveries, and 32 deaths. There are 10,358 active cases.

Haryana’s coronavirus caseload surged to 2,57,644 in the last 24 hours with 577 fresh infections. The death toll climbed to 2,821 as five more people succumbed to the disease.

Maharashtra reported 3,811 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the count of infections to 18,96,518. With 98 more people succumbing to the disease, the total tally of fatalities rose to 48,746. A total of 2,064 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the number of recoveries to 17,83,905. The state is now left with 62,743 active cases. Madhya Pradesh reported 1,069 new coronavirus cases, taking the count of infections to 2,31,284. With 13 more people succumbing to the disease, the overall death toll rose to 3,481. A total of 1,274 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the overall recovery count to 2,16,485.

Andhra Pradesh reported 438 fresh Covid-19 cases, 589 recoveries, and two deaths in the last 24 hours. The state’s coronavirus chart now showed 8,78,723 total positive cases, 8,67,445 recoveries, and 7,076 deaths. The number of active cases came down to 4,202.
