While Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is attempting to convey a stern message on law and order and corruption issues, his Chief Secretary Sundhashu Pant is currently adopting thorough inspections at his level to invigorate officials.
This is to ensure that officers remain vigilant in their work and that the general public faces no problems. After becoming the Chief Minister, Bhajan Lall Sharma’s top priority has been to improve law and order and control corruption.
Several steps have been taken by the government following his directions. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal also attempted to convey a message by visiting police stations along interacting with the general public.
In response to the Governor’s address in the assembly, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, while launching a severe attack on the previous Congress government, focused primarily on women’s safety and corruption.
In his first speech as Chief Minister, Bhajan Lal highlighted the steps taken by his government, with the main focus remaining on the issues raised during the election.
The first speech can be considered quite effective in this regard. As the opposition leader, Tika Ram Jully also criticised the BJP regarding its schemes. Jully, in his role, made an effort to handle this responsibility properly.
The Chief Minister is committed to making the public aware that this government is working differently. This is because the government faces significant challenges. It will undoubtedly impact the environment, particularly with the certain effect of discontinuing the welfare schemes of the previous Ashok Gehlot government.
Therefore, the government is focusing on corruption, EWS, and law and order to clarify its intentions. In this, Chief Secretary Pant also plays a crucial role. In his one-month tenure, Pant has also attempted to ensure that officers perform their duties honestly. For this, he first made an unannounced visit to the Jaipur Development Authority, ensuring that officers remain vigilant.
After that, he visited the district collectorate today, where he inspected every room, took note of negligence cases, and also captured photographs. Pant’s such visits will undoubtedly send a significant message to government officials and employees.

CS conducts surprise inspection at District Collectorate
Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant arrived at the collectorate on Tuesday morning for a surprise inspection of the district treasury office and other offices. He inspected the chambers of each officer, during which some officers were found absent. Before visiting the collectorate office, Pant also visited the building of the regional commissioner, where he observed the presence of employees and officers and examined the files on their desks.
In addition, he inspected the file storage in the chambers of the City Sub Divisional Magistrate and also took a look at some files. Upon observing the backlog of files, he even took pictures of some files. During the sudden inspection by the CS, many officers were seen rushing to the scene. Employees were seen running in government offices in front of the Chief Secretary.
It is believed that after the sudden inspection by the Chief Secretary, action may be taken against negligent employees. This comes after the Chief Secretary conducted a surprise inspection of the JDAs, where action was taken against negligent officers.
