Adele shed tears as the two embraced for a few seconds before exchanging a few words. Dion tenderly held Adele’s face in her hands, then kissed and held Adele’s hand as the British singer waved at others nearby. After delivering a few more words to Dion, Adele returned to the stage, visibly emotional with tears on her cheeks. Dion appeared equally moved during their heartfelt exchange. Another video showed Dion wiping her eyes after their touching moment.
Dion was accompanied by her two sons, Nelson and Eddy Angelil, who consoled their mother following the emotional encounter. One video shared on X also depicted Adele stepping away from Dion while continuing to sing, dabbing her tear-stained face in the process.

Adele also expressed her admiration on Instagram, writing, “Queen Celine! What a show, an absolute highlight of my life, thank you so much for the attention to your crowd and insane humour. Happy New Year lady x.”
Adele is set to conclude her two-year Vegas residency in November. During a performance in Munich in September, she revealed her plans to step away from music for a “long time” once her residency ends, according to People.
