Close to Priyanka Gandhi, Congress leader Aacharya Pramod Krishnam in an interview on India News Manch said that there are several leaders who are against the religious ideology and religious system of India. He also warned that those who talk against Ram (Hindu God) will get crushed under their own weight.
He said that even the Mughals and Britishers who were mighty entities during their tenure couldn’t erase the concept of Sanatan Dharm, so there is no way that any other would be able to do it. He said, “The mighty empires have not been able to do any harm to our religious concept how can these teeny weeny people from Congress suppress our identity?”
He was also apprehensive about the impending resistance against him within Congress after giving such statements against his fellow leaders. He said, “After giving such statements, there may be some sort of contemplation to get me out of the party but what is truth should be told.”
Moreover, he also indirectly praised Narendra Modi and said that wherever the work has been done for the upliftment of the nation we should appreciate it and should not oppose everything for the sake of opposition and for the sake of being in the opposition. He said, “Whether my neck gets sliced or not, that should not be the concern. The concern should be the growth of the people of India and the speeding progress of the nation.”
