Responding to the call for discussion, Union Minister Anurag Thakur suggested that the opposition should provide constructive input rather than creating obstacles. He emphasized the importance of offering suggestions for improvement, stating, “They will not achieve anything by creating obstacles.”

Meanwhile, Delhi’s Patiala House Court granted seven days of custodial remand to all four accused persons arrested in connection with the Parliament security breach. The fifth accused, Lalit Jha, was also arrested by Delhi Police on Thursday.

In related developments, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor expressed disappointment over Home Minister Amit Shah’s absence in Parliament and suggested that Shah’s statement could have diffused the crisis. Tharoor stated, “He should have come here and spoken; that could have diffused the entire crisis… We have important issues to discuss in Parliament.”

The Special Cell of Delhi Police, responsible for investigating the Parliament security breach case, detained two more individuals suspected of association with the five already arrested in the case. The incident continues to stir discussions and demands for accountability within the parliamentary proceedings.
