Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader, Prem Garg, expressed concerns about the city›s development, emphasising that there were almost no developmental works in 2023.
Garg is eager to witness progress and the impact of various projects in 2024, including the Tri-City Metro Project, Sector 17 North Plaza rejuvenation, Kurali New Chandigarh Road, Mullapur Stadium, garbage mountain management, 24-hour water supply, Chandigarh railway station, and the unified control room for all facilities.
Despite the hopes for momentum due to the upcoming parliamentary elections, most projects don›t seem to be progressing noticeably. The Aam Aadmi Party in Chandigarh is committed to pushing for necessary development, echoing promises made for Chandigarh similar to those for Delhi and Punjab.
