In 1999, Aamir Khan captivated audiences with his portrayal of ACP Ajay Singh Rathod in ‘Sarfarosh.’ Directed by John Mathew Matthan, the movie follows Aamir’s character, a determined cop, who pledges to eradicate crime following the paralysis of his father and the murder of his elder brother by terrorists.

25 years after its release, ‘Sarfarosh’ continues to be revered by many. Aamir Khan and the ‘Sarfarosh’ team are reportedly organizing a special screening of the film in Mumbai to commemorate its 25th anniversary, according to a source close to Aamir.

Director John Matthew Matthan, music director Lalit Pandit, and actors Mukesh Rishi, Naseeruddin Shah, Makarand Deshpande, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rajesh Joshi, and others are expected to attend the screening. Sonali Bendre, who portrayed Aamir’s love interest in the film, is also anticipated to be present. The special screening is set to occur on May 10 at PVR Juhu in Mumbai.

In addition to its storyline, the music of ‘Sarfarosh’ stands out as a remarkable aspect. Crafted by Jatin-Lalit, the film features timeless tracks such as Jagjit Singh’s ‘Hosh Walon Ko Khabar Kya,’ ‘Zindagi Maut Na Ban Jaye,’ ‘Is Deewane Ladke Ko,’ ‘Jo Haal Dil Ka,’ and more.
