It is a story of a young small-town simpleton who has been bestowed with a task of transporting a gorilla from Mumbai to Diu and this journey is going to be full of adventure. An Indian adventure comedy film starring a gorilla will be refreshing to watch.

Upon Aadar’s portrayal of a small town Gujarati guy, Pankaj shared, “Aadar effortlessly got into the skin of his character of a simpleton and rightly so that’s what an actor’s job is. Regardless of the background he comes from, he did justice to playing a small town Gujarati guy. Aadar’s a director’s actor and every step of the way he sought guidance to be his best — that’s what I love about him.”

“When it comes to the prep, it was intense. We did have readings where I gave my two cents on comic timing, he understood the nuances and also watched some videos online that helped him with mannerisms. And, the eager learner that Aadar is, he grasped things well and fast,” he added.

The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Shlokka Pandit, Elnaaz Norouzi, Rajpal Yadav, Bharat Ganeshpure, and Darshan Jariwala. With a unique storyline and vibrant backdrops, ‘Hello Charlie’ will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 9 April.
