There’s something incredibly refreshing about a staycation. It’s the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, right in your own city. Recently, I opted for a one-night staycation at the Hyatt Regency in Gurugram, and it was nothing short of spectacular.

The Suite Experience

My stay was in their plush suite on the 10th floor. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered a stunning view of the cityscape. The suite was equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay. The suite boasted stunning views of the cityscape and had a living room, a powder room, bedroom, two washrooms, and a bathing room with bathtub and a TV console!

Rejuvenation Redefined

The property itself is a haven for those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation. With a pool, spa, salon, gaming room, and gymnasium, there’s no shortage of ways to unwind.
I took advantage of their spa, Shvasa, where I indulged in a soothing head, back, and shoulder massage. The skilled therapists and serene ambiance of the spa made it a truly revitalizing experience. The 30 minutes relaxing hot oil massage transported me to the world of zen and serenity and trust me – I felt super rejuvenated and all my pain knots vanished!

Culinary Delights

When it comes to dining, the Hyatt Regency Gurugram doesn’t disappoint. I started my day with a hearty breakfast at the Kitchen District with some cheese dosa, idli, croissant, juices and cheese. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, catering to all tastes. The highlight of my culinary journey, however, was the scrumptious Sunday brunch. The spread was extensive, featuring both local and international cuisines including Mughlai, Italian, Asian and American. I feasted on their hummus and pita, malai paneer tikka, soya chaap, 3-cheese pizza and angeethi soya chaap. Each dish was prepared to perfection, making it a gastronomic delight.

For my dinner at the property, I dined at Shin’ya – the newly launched exquisite Izakaya eatery and bar which warrants a separate, in-depth review!

My staycation at the Hyatt Regency Gurugram was a memorable and perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and culinary excellence. Like me, if you’re looking for a quick getaway to a place to unwind over the weekend, this one is totally recommended.
