CM window was set up in 2014 to address the grievances of people in Haryana and as many as 812994 complaints have been filed during a period of 6.2 years since then. It came to light that the maximum complaints were received in initial years pertaining to different wings of state and the Home emerged as topper as the police department received maximum complaints. It is pertinent to mention that a total of 154502 complaints were filed in 2018 as compared to 146114 and 99031 in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

Apart from this, it is worth mentioning that Corona emerged as a prominent factor which led to decreasing complaints on CM window. All kind of activities were less reported as the police department remained in the top with maximum 194625 complaints during the above time period which constitutes about 25 percent of the whole. In continuation to this, as many as 85044 complaints were received on CM window regarding the rural development department followed by the Urban Local Bodies with 51248 complaints.

A string of complaints were put in high priority category as they were to be dealt on an immediate basis taking into consideration their nature.

A total of 35941 complaints were kept in this category and Panipat topped the list with 3649 followed by Faridabad and Jhajjar with 3649 and 2749 complaints respectively. While Sirsa and and Bhiwani remained on fourth and fifth positions with 2195 and 1965 complaints respectively.

Amid the claims of good working style of officials by the government, a string of employees along with senior officials made mockery of the rules as a total of 937 of them were found breaching the norms and their working was not to expectations .It paved the path to take stern action against those officials not fulfilling their duty properly. Apart from this, the government also took action against some people doing wrong. The Cooperative department emerged on the top with maximum 228 officials and employees who were made to face the action according to service rules. Besides, the health, education and agriculture departments are among those with maximum officials and employees failing to fulfill the expectations. Besides, out of 138 officials and employees, 177 who faced the action were deployed at state headquarters, Panchkula.
