According to the caption accompanying the post, Daman Thakore and his family embarked on this adventure with their 1950s MG YT Lal Pari, visiting 16 countries over 2.5 months. The journey, described as a lifetime adventure, was achieved at a cost comparable to that of a Mercedes car.

In October 2023, the family shared their achievement on a dedicated page, expressing gratitude for the support they received. They described the journey as “73 days of madness, sweat, and blood,” and celebrated Lal Pari’s successful journey from India to the UK, making them the first Indians to accomplish such a feat in a vintage car.

On social media, reactions varied with users reminiscing about similar journeys and expressing admiration for the family’s courage and determination.
