The polling started at 7 am and continued till 6 pm amid tight security arrangements. A total of 14 candidates including a woman contestant, were in the fray. The seat had recorded 69.43 percent polling in the 2019 Haryana assembly polls. The bypoll in Baroda was necessitated by the demise of former Congress legislator Shree Krishan Hooda. All parties put their best to woo the voters ahead of the election leaving no stone unturned. Although the election was quite peaceful, the Congress filed a complaint against former BJP cabinet minister Manish Grover and his supporters accusing them of entering a polling booth illegally.04/11/2020
