Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam (HKRN) is offering jobs to the candidates seeking jobs abroad. Under the new initiative, the state government has invited job applications for youth opportunities abroad and the youth has shown great interest in jobs being offered. Further, in view of this, the state government is set to provide 10 more jobs in foreign countries. In collaboration with Central agencies, the Foreign Cooperation Department of Haryana will ensure the smooth functioning of the required process.

The Haryana government had issued advertisements for 10,000 posts for going to Israel earlier, for which 4,000 applications were received. Further, training will be imparted to the candidates seeking jobs abroad depending on the nature of jobs at Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Besides, Israel will also cooperate in the training. Notably, vacancies have been advertised on the official website of the HKRN Limited, a corporation set up by the state government to recruit contractual employees for government entities.

In continuation to aforesaid, it is pertinent to mention that the jobs were posted on 31 December, days after advertisements were issued to recruit 10,000 construction workers for Israel along with staff nurses for the Cambridge University Hospital in the UK, and bouncers (security guards) in Dubai, 50 each. The fresh job adverts include those for 50 posts of caregivers in Finland for a monthly salary of approx. Rs 1.85 lakh to Rs 1.88 lakh and in Japan for Rs 96,800-Rs 1.3 lakh per month. Candidates are also being sought for 2,500 posts of nurses in the UK and translators in Uzbekistan, with knowledge of Hindi, English and Russian, for around Rs 85000 The deadline for applications is 5 January. Notably, the first round of ads for foreign jobs were issued on 15 December with a deadline of 20 December.

The issue of youth from Haryana going abroad in search of jobs illegally is a matter of serious concern. Haryana Police is also tightening the noose on such fraudsters, which may result in the reduction in cases of such nature. In view of all this, the corporation itself has started the process of obtaining the necessary license for sending them abroad, as soon as this license is received, the corporation will start sending the interested youth, saving the youth from becoming victims of fraud.

The Haryana government is leaving no stone unturned to ban people from traveling abroad through fraudulent means. Seven countries including Israel and the UK have made demands from the youth of Haryana. Demand for the healthcare nurses continues to surface and around 2500 healthcare nurses are required in the UK with a salary package 28000 to 29000 pounds per year requiring the eligibility of a B.Sc Nursing program, GNM, one year experience and IELTS. Age should be below 45 years and the company will provide medical insurance and free accommodation for the first two months.

Similarly, there has been a demand for construction workers in Israel and the list of jobs in demand includes plastering, ceramic tile,people doing framework, shuttering, carpenter, yarn bedding and a salary of Rs 1,37,000 will be paid per month apart from the option of overtime and the eligibility criteria for the same requires Tenth pass, three years’ experience, age should be 25 to 45 years.

Apart from the UK and Israel, Finland needs 50 healthcare caregivers with the salary package of Rs 1.90 lakh per month. Besides, 20 restaurant staff are needed in Japan, hospitality sector. You will get 2.40 lakh yen every month. Uzbekistan requires 100 structural fitters, fabricators, 100 assistant structural fitters, 100 structural supervisors, 50 machine operators. UAE requires 200 heavy bus drivers, 95 light bus drivers, 50 female housekeeping attendants, 20 female cleaners, 13 female resident technicians.
