Three army personnel’s died during a routine operation task in the Machhal sector of north Kashmir after their vehicle slid into a deep gorge, when the snow on the track gave away. The army force was engaged in normal operational tasks in the Machhal sectors forward zone. One junior commissioned officer and two other ranks perished. The three army personnel’s have been found, according to the Chinar corps, which is in charge of operations in the Kashmir valley.

The incident happened last night at approximately 6:30pm. For past three days there was significant snowfall in the area where the tragedy occurred.
