Jan Manch was organised in 11 districts of the state on Sunday. During various Jan Manch programmes, 1609 grievances and demands were received out of which most of the complaints were disposed of on the spot. To contain the spread of coronavirus, all safety and precautionary measures were properly followed by all district administrations.
Jal Shakti Minister Mahender Singh Thakur presided over the Jan Manch held in Karsog Assembly Constituency of District Mandi.
During Jan Manch, 332 complaints and demands were received out of which maximum were resolved while the rest were sent to the concerned departments for early redressal.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj presided over the Jan Manch at Kalbog in Jubbal Kotkhai, Shimla. On this occasion, 76 complaints were received and 73 were disposed of while the rest were sent to different departments for early redressal. During Jan Manch, health checkups of 78 persons were done at the medical camp and free medicines were given to 30 patients after tests. Covid vaccination of 43 persons was done.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Sarveen Chaudhary presided over the Jan Manch held in Hamirpur. Ten complaints and eight demands were received that were resolved. There were 16 complaints and 37 demands and all were disposed of. Chaudhary distributed bamboo kits to 25 artisans. She provided FDR of Rs 31,000 each to 10 eligible girls for their marriage under Shagun Yojana and Rs 12,000 each to five beneficiary girls under Beti hai Anmol Yojana.
Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar presided over the Jan Manch held at Una. As many as 102 complaints were received, out of which maximum were redressed and the rest were sent to concerned departments for early redressal. Two persons were given the first dose and 29 were given the second dose of Covid vaccines. A health checkup of 128 persons and medical tests of 28 persons was done at the medical camp.
Industries Minister Bikram Singh presided over the Jan Manch held at Solan, where 145 complaints and demands were received out of which maximum were disposed of and rest were sent to concerned departments for early disposal.
Documents of five eligible families were finalised under Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojana. A health checkup of 271 people was done at the medical camp. Five persons were given the first dose of the Covid vaccine and 17 were given the second dose. Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) of five persons was done for Covid.
Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur presided over Jan Manch held at Kullu. As many as 40 complaints were received out of which maximum were resolved and the rest were sent to concerned departments for early redressal.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Rajiv Saizal presided over the Jan Manch held at Mandi Sirmaur. As many as 47 complaints were received and most of them were settled and the rest were sent to the concerned departments. FDR of Rs 12,000 each were presented to the parents of 12 newborn girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana. FDR of Rs 50,000 was also presented to a woman under widow remarriage and free gas connections were provided to 200 eligible families under Grihini Suvidha Yojana.
In Bilaspur, Jan Manch was presided over by MPP and Power Minister. As many as 349 complaints and demands were received and most of the cases were disposed of. 30 Himachal certificates, 13 SC certificates, 12 income certificates, nine mutations, and six disability certificates were issued.
