Expressing disappointment as many as 12 members resign from the recently-formed Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee.

Meanwhile, members resigned citing that over 50 percent of the PCC members are leaders who recently joined from Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

The leader who resigned is Mulugu MLA Seethakka, Ch. Vijaya Ramana Rao, K. Satyanarayana, Subhash Reddy, Patel Ramesh Reddy, Ch. Madhusudhan Reddy, Vem Narender Reddy, D. Sambaiah, Vajresh Yadav, Jangaiah Yadav, Ch. Venkatesh, S. Mallesh and Sashikala Yadava Reddy.

Moreover, the Congress leaders who worked for the last six years gave resignation letters. The disappointed members in resignation letters highlighted that the KCR has been running a “dictatorial rule” in the state. Members also said to dethrone KCR there is a necessity for a strong struggle.

However, Uttam Kumar alleged that the leaders who recently joined from Telugu Desam Party (TDP) have been made PCC members.

The resignation letter has been submitted to the All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Malikarjun Kharge.

Furthermore, the AICC secretary and in-charge of Telangana Manickam Tagore also resignation has been sent.
