On Monday, eleven people died in a factory fire in Wuyi County, Jinhua City, East China’s Zhejiang Province, said the local government on Tuesday.

The fire started on Monday at 14:04. According to the statement, first responders, including firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical personnel, flocked to the scene after receiving a call reporting that individuals were trapped on the third story.

The notice stated that two rounds of search and rescue activities were completed by 4 am Tuesday after the fire was put out and 11 dead were discovered.

It was said that the fire originated in a facility that produces wooden doors, potentially from products like wooden doors, paint, and packages.

Those alleged to be responsible for the incident have been detained and a more thorough investigation is underway, the announcement added. Investigations into the causes of the accident are underway.
