With two weeks left in the forthcoming by-election, the stalwarts of all factions are on the toes to make the party’s contestant to win the battle. All the factions contesting the election have come up with different strategies to emerge as the winner in this multi-cornered battle.

In this series, Kumari Seleja, the Congress state president, is leading the concussing campaign herself, eyeing every step of the opposite factions. While reacting to the party’s stand regarding the election, Kumari Selaja said that the Congress continues to take lead on contestants of other factions. She also took a dig at the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) and the INLD (Indian National Lok Dal) saying that both are the sides of the same coin as both are fooling the voters.

The BJP-JJP (Bharatiya Janata Party-Jannayak Janata Party) government left no stone unturned to put the farmers in a state of disparity. She also took on INLD candidate Abhay Singh Chautala stating that Abhay resigned from the post of MLA earlier saying that he would not enter the assembly until the government does not withdraw the three contentious agricultural laws. But the scenario remains unchanged and he is contesting the election against which does not make any sense as he could not succeed in keeping his words.

Pawan Beniwal who had fought the previous assembly election on the BJP, has been fielded in by poll by the Congress now. To some extent, the party succeeded in controlling the infighting among its senior leaders ahead of the election which is relieving for the party contestant. Besides, his uncle Bharat Beniwal also came up in his support saying that he will put his best in terms of canvassing as earlier he was reported being upset with the party after he was denied a ticket. It is pertinent to mention that Bharat Beniwal had contested the last election against his nephew Pawan Beniwal. The state Congress president Kumari Seleja continues to canvas for the party candidate.

The ruling BJP has come with a micro-management formula to survive the election and under the same, the party head in each village falling in the assembly area has been assigned the duty to woo the voters in support of the party candidate.

According to the information made available by the party, the BJP contestant Govind Kanda has conducted public meetings in more than two dozen villages so far so that the party can take maximum lead. In four blocks of the seat, the legislators and the appointed chairman in different departments along with the booth workers have been fielded in the ground for canvassing.

In this series, a couple of meetings of the cabinet ministers and the legislators will be held to decide the further strategy and strengthen the election campaign after 20 October, 2021. Besides, the Chief Minister’s program will take place after the above said period and the senior leaders continue to mull over every possible plan to win the elections.INLD which survived the seat in last assembly elections, dominates the seat so far as the party contestant Abhay Singh Chautala succeeded in winning the seat back-to-back for thrice. OP Chautala, the INLD supremo, has come up himself to get his son victory and continues to visit the villages falling the assembly appealing the voters to cast their votes in favour of the party.
